BJP reviews membership drive in Kashmir

The BJP on Saturday conducted a crucial review meeting in South Kashmir to assess the ongoing membership drive across J&K.

A party spokesperson said BJP membership drive Kashmir incharge Arif Raja chaired the review meeting held at the party office in Harnag, Anantnag. Among the prominent attendees were party’s district presidents from Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian, the spokesperson said.

According to him, the discussions centered “on the progress of the membership drive, strategies for further outreach, and ways to strengthen the BJP’s presence in the region.”

Raja expressed satisfaction with the ongoing efforts but stressed on the importance of intensifying engagement with the local population to ensure greater participation in the drive.
