BJP president JP Nadda on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had ushered in the flavour of pro incumbency in the country with the party repeating its government in one state after the other.

After Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Manipur, Goa and other states, Haryana has also voted the BJP for a third term.

“BJP is a preferred party for governance, the most preferred party for women, poor, farmers, youth and Dalits. Those who were attempting to divide the society stand defeated in Haryana. The Congress did not leave any stone unturned to spread lies but people did not heed them even a bit,” Nadda said recalling Modi’s times as BJP in charge of Haryana and Himachal and how his plans for the Haryana gave it a direction and moved it from the margins to the mainstream.

Hailing BJP’s win in Jammu and Kashmir, Nadda said the vote here was a vote for development and an endorsement of the BJP government’s move to abrogate Article 370.

“Gear up for winning Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Delhi polls,’ Nadda told cadres crediting Modi for BJP’s historic Haryana hattrick and a the best ever show in Jammu and Kashmir.
