Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of infrastructural and development projects worth over Rs 280 crore in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. These initiatives aim to enhance tourism, improve accessibility and promote sustainability in the region.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Gujarat spans two days, with several events on his agenda. As part of his engagements, Modi is slated to address the Officer Trainees of the 99th Common Foundation Course under Aarambh 6.0, themed ‘Roadmap for Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat’. The training programme features 653 officer trainees from 16 Indian civil services and three civil services from Bhutan.

On Thursday, Modi will participate in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The PM will offer floral tributes to the Iron Man of India and administer the Ekta Diwas pledge.
