The collaboration of India with ASEAN can play a crucial role in tackling contemporary issues — including food and health security and even the political challenges in the region — External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar said in Singapore on Friday.

He was speaking at the eighth roundtable of the ASEAN-India network of think-tanks on the theme ‘Navigating a world in transition: Agenda for ASEAN-India cooperation’. ASEAN members include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
