Recent hoax bomb threats on flights have been traced to minors and pranksters, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said on Friday.

These hoax threats plagued almost all major airlines in the country, including IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air, SpiceJet, Vistara and Air India Express during the last four days.

“Recent hoax bomb threats have been traced to minors and pranksters. Civil Aviation Ministry is taking strict action to ensure passenger safety and prevent any such incidents. I personally urge everyone to act responsibly, as together, we can avoid these inconveniences and maintain a secure travel experience for all,” Naidu wrote on X.
