Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan emphasised the significance of education cooperation between India and Australia, calling it the fulcrum of their relationship. Speaking at Australian International Education Conference in Melbourne, Pradhan highlighted the potential for both nations to advance knowledge, leverage technology, and foster innovation and entrepreneurship among students.

During his visit to Australia, Pradhan met with Australian Education Minister Jason Clare to discuss strengthening their partnership in critical and emerging technologies. They also explored establishing branch campuses of Australian universities in India. Notably, Deakin University and the University of Wollongong already opened their Indian campuses last year.
