Bengaluru Aero India show scheduled for February

The Ministry of Defence on Thursday announced that the biennial Aero India show will be held at the Yelahanka Air Force station at Bengaluru from February 10 to February 14 next year.

The five-day event will witness the participation of leading Indian and foreign manufacturers, besides several delegations of friendly foreign countries.

The Department of Defence Production said in a post on X: "The Aero India will be conducted from Feb 10 to Feb 14".

Several foreign countries have evinced interest in buying Indian platforms, including Tejas fighter jets. India exported military equipment worth Rs 21,083 crore in the last financial year.

The Philippines became the first country to buy the BrahMos air defence missile system. Earlier this week, Tata announced a plant at Morocco in North Africa to produce the wheeled armoured personnel carrier.
