A day after Donald Trump emerged victorious in the US elections, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal cited PM Narendra Modi and said, “India-US partnership is a special and a multifaceted partnership”.
PM Narendra Modi spoke to President-elect Trump yesterday. Modi conveyed to Trump that he looked forward to working very closely as the two had done earlier, Jaiswal said.
“The two reaffirmed their commitment on working together to further strengthen bilateral ties across technology, defence, energy, space and several other sectors,” the MEA said.
