Independent candidate Kumudini vows to complete late husband Rakesh Daultabad’s work

Independent candidate Kumudini Rakesh Daultabad from Badshahpur has boldly presented her vision for Gurugram’s future, addressing the concerns of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) in New Gurugram. She took up the challenge of facing the irate RWAs, who have been impacted by issues like roads and waterlogging.

Kumudini’s vision focuses on completing her late husband Rakesh Daultabad’s unfinished projects, including Kherki Daula toll plaza removal, mega rainwater reservoir network, more autonomy to RWAs and road improvement plan. Her husband was Badshahpur MLA from 2019 to 2024 before he died of cardiac arrest on the day of Lok Sabha election.

She emphasised that her husband, a strong Independent MLA, had worked tirelessly for Badshahpur’s development, resolving issues and improving infrastructure. Kumudini aims to fulfil his dream for the area.

As a former fashion designer, Kumudini is now dedicated to completing her husband’s pending works, guided by the slogan “Rajniti nahi kaaryaniti” (Not politics, but work policy).

Kumudini faces a tough battle against veteran BJP leader Rao Narbir and Congress’ youth leader Vardhan Yadav. However, she is striking a chord with Rakesh’s support group of High Rise RWAs.
