In yet another incident a woman was attacked by stray dogs at a park in Sector 28 here this morning. “Five to six stray dogs attacked my wife around 8.15 am when she was sitting in the park after dropping our son to school. The canines bit her heel area. A few persons present in the park rushed to help her and shooed away the dogs. A PCR team also reached the spot.

“ We took her to Sector 19 dispensary, but it was closed and then she was taken to Government Multi-Speciality Hospital in Sector 16, where she was vaccinated,” said Virchand, husband of victim Ramkali. He said last year in June also she was bitten by stray dogs near the house.

He said a few days back, a 12-year-old boy was also attacked by stray dogs in the park. He fell unconscious and was rescued by persons present in the park.
