In a brief exchange of firing, a team of special task force (STF) has arrested two shooters, who were allegedly involved in firing outside the residence of a financier in Indri a couple of days ago. Both shooters received bullet injuries and have been rushed to the hospital, where their condition is said to be out of danger.

The accused have been identified as Sumit, a resident of Naina village in Kaithal district and Sahil, a resident of Kaithal city.

Acting on a tip-off, the STF team arrived near Western Yamuna Canal in Indri on Wednesday morning. The police said both shooters opened firing on them, prompting the team members to retaliate.
