In Brief: CM releases two books
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday released two books — ‘Jalandhar Peeth Ka Rahsya’ and ‘Mushtarka Khata’ — authored by Ajay Parashar who is Director, Information and Public Relations North East Council. The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the writer in compiling these insightful books. He said the book of ‘Jalandhar Peeth Ka Rahsya’ would provide an in-depth exploration of the historical and religious significance of various peeths in Himachal Pradesh, while ‘Mushtarka Khata’ was a compendium of 16 short stories that reflected various aspects of everyday life. The CM said the works would go a long way in enhancing public understanding of local culture and history. He expressed the confidence that these books would be well received by readers.
