Dharambir Singh said the construction of the ROB had been delayed by about one and a half years and the cost of the construction work would increase due to this delay. “This cost should be recovered from the officer concerned as penalty,” he said.

Meanwhile, Railways official Dinesh Purohit said the approach work on the ROB was pending and the sewer line had to be shifted. As soon as this work is completed, which is the responsibility of the local administration, the Railways would complete its part of the work within 10 days, the Railways official said.
