New Delhi (India), March 6:  Leading e-commerce platform Flipkart has launched its own UPI service. Making its way into the market with its brand-new UPI feature, the brand offers a convenient and rewarding experience for online and offline payments.

In a unique approach, Flipkart challenged users to make its latest print ad “the world’s most expensive ad.” Every scan of a special QR code printed on the ad’s front page on Sunday, followed by same-day registration for Flipkart UPI, earned users 10 FREE SuperCoins. These SuperCoins offer various benefits starting from just Rs 1.

Flipkart estimates each scan costs the company around Rs 10, meaning the more scans the platform receives, the higher its advertising expense. This playful campaign asks, “How expensive will India make this ad for Flipkart?” and “How rewarding will you make it for yourself?”
