She came to Chhachhrauli town to address a rally organised by former MLA Akram Khan, who is a strong contender for the Congress ticket from the Jagadhri Assembly constituency of Yamunanagar district.

Overwhelmed by the huge crowd in the rally, she said the Congress would win from the Jagadhri Assembly constituency with record votes and she would make every possible effort to get the party ticket for Akram Khan from this constituency.

Kumari Selja said the BJP leaders talked about factionalism in the Congress and they used to issue statements in this regard. “In fact everyone knows that there is factionalism in the BJP itself. On the same subject, the statements of the BJP state president and the Chief Minister are different,” said Kumar Selja. She said the people of the state were fed up with 1the 0-year misrule of the BJP government. “Now the people of the state want to get rid of the BJP by forming a Congress government,” said Selja. Regarding extending of the polling date from October 1 to October 5, she said this would not benefit the BJP.
