A case of alleged illegal mining on the panchayat land at Shehzadwala village of the district has come to light.

The panchayat had passed a resolution in connection with the mining of minerals on November 5 and sent it to the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) of Pratap Nagar Kartik Chauhan, demanding strict action against persons involved in this illegal activity.

The panchayat said that there was a panchayat land near a gaushala of Baniyawala village. It is alleged that some anti-social aliments were carrying out illegal mining on it during night time. The panchayat has demanded police patrolling in this area during night and action against persons found carrying out illegal mining.
