IIM-Sirmaur launches MBA in family managed businesses

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur, has announced the launch of its new MBA programme in family managed businesses. The course is a full-time, two-year master’s programme specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by family-owned enterprises in India.
This initiative aims to equip the next generation of family business leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving business environment. “This programme is tailored to meet the specific needs of family-managed businesses, offering expert guidance on succession planning, equity management, market mapping and strategies for expansion and growth, all while adapting to the ever-evolving business landscape,” said IIM-Sirmaur Director Prafulla Agnihotri.
Dr Shashi Kant Srivastava, a key member of the programme’s drafting committee, said, “This programme is perfect for young entrepreneurs aiming to take their family business to new heights.
