The Road Safety Club, Nahan, discussed various suggestions to streamline and enhance the city’s traffic management system. During a meeting held under the chairmanship of Nahan Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramakant Thakur, Narendra Tomar, president of the Road Safety Club, praised the efforts of the traffic police in managing increasing traffic in the town.

He emphasised the need to raise awareness among people about traffic rules despite the increasing number of vehicles on the road. Stressing the importance of citizen cooperation in improving traffic conditions, Tomar said public involvement was crucial for the successful management of traffic. The members of the club expressed their appreciation for the hard work of the traffic police.

Asserting that the department was committed to improving road safety, the DSP also assured them that appropriate actions would be taken. Key topics discussed during the meeting included solutions for better parking, installation of traffic signals and stricter enforcement of traffic rules.

The club members unanimously agreed that better coordination between the police and the public was essential to improving the traffic situation in Nahan.

Tomar also appreciated the active participation and cooperation of all members present at the meeting. He reiterated that the Road Safety Club would continue working hand in hand with the police administration to further improve the city’s traffic system in the future.
