HPU prof named chief editor of Indian Journal of Finance
Prof Raj Kumar Singh, Department of Commerce, Himachal Pradesh University, has been appointed as the chief editor of the Indian Journal of Finance (ISSN-0973-8711) for a tenure of five years.
Talking about his appointment, Singh said, “My primary goal is to elevate the journal’s ranking from its current ABDC rating of ‘C’ to ‘B’. Additionally, I aim to encourage researchers to conduct high-quality research, thereby making a positive contribution to the nation’s development.”
He extended his gratitude to Deepak Sahney, director of Associated Management Consultants Private Limited, and Priyanka Gillani, managing editor, for their support in the appointment. He also extended his gratitude to colleagues and researchers for their contributions. HoD Devinder Sharma and faculty members extended their best wishes to Singh for his future endeavors.
For his academic achievements, Singh has been listed among the world’s top 2 per cent scientists for two consecutive years by Stanford University.
