Hoshiarpur boys selected for Punjab U-16 cricket camp

Hoshiarpur’s Parth Sharma and Anshul Sharma were selected for Punjab Under-16 training camp in the 10-day camp organised by Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) in Mansa for the selection of the Punjab team. On this occasion, Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association (HDCA) secretary Raman Ghai said children were being trained under the supervision of Punjab’s coaches and trainers on behalf of the PCA. Those who perform well in this camp will be selected for the Punjab team. Ghai said the way HDCA’s coaches and trainers were working hard on the players, the entire credit for the good performance of the players would go to them.
He said the day was not far when the players of Hoshiarpur would be seen playing in the Indian team. On this occasion, HDCA president Daljit Singh Khela and HDCA group congratulated the players on their selection and said they would bring laurels to the district and the state by performing well.
On the selection of Parth and Anshul, district coach Daljit, district trainer and former national cricketer Kuldeep Dhami, Daljit Dhiman, Ashok Sharma, district women’s coach Davinder Kalyan congratulated the players and wished them good luck for their future. — OC
