Women doctors celebrate medicine, tradition in Dharamsala
The ‘Doctors and Sarees Kangra 2024’ function was organised at Amoha in Dharamsala. The event was curated by Dr Manila Mahajan, Dr Bharati Gupta, Dr Anuradha Sood, Dr Monica Pathania, and Dr Apra Attri. This unique celebration brought together a group of eighty women doctors, who embraced tradition and elegance, wrapped in timeless sarees. The occasion was marked by the presence of these women, draped in hues of red, symbolising strength, passion, and grace.
Through their participation, the female doctors demonstrated how they balanced their professional commitments with the celebration of their heritage, making it a memorable occasion that blended tradition with the modern world of healthcare. The event highlighted the cultural richness of sarees and honoured medical profession.
