Will go through court order before taking any decision: Himachal CM
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who arrived in Dharamsala this evening, said that he would go through the judgment of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh setting aside the appointment of Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPSs) before taking a decision on it. “I shall go through the court judgment and discuss it with my Cabinet colleagues before taking a decision in the matter,” added Sukhu, who was here to attend a private function.
The Chief Minister also held a meeting regarding various development projects under-construction in the Kangra region, including the expansion of the Gaggal airport and the upgrade of the Daghwar milk plant.
Asked about Baddi SP IIma Afroz, who had proceeded on leave due to alleged harassment by the local Congress MLA, Sukhu said that she had gone on leave. He asked mediapersons to hand over any proof that they had regarding the alleged harassment of the Baddi SP by the MLA.
Asked about the delay in the construction of the campus of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh at Jadrangal, the Chief Minister said that the matter would be resolved soon.
About the allegations levelled by the BJP that he was giving more preference to the Dehra Assembly constituency represented by his wife Kamlesh Thakur, he said that it was the job of the Opposition to make allegations and he did not want to respond to them.
Sukhu said that he was in Kangra to review the progress of various development projects initiated by his government in the region, including the expansion of the Gaggal airport, upgrade of the Dagwar milk plant and the zoological park project in Dehra.
