The lift at the Mini Secretariat at Sarkaghat in Mandi district has been out of service, causing difficulties to employees and the general public. Senior citizens and people with disabilities are especially inconvenienced due to this. There is an urgent need to make the lift functional for the convenience of general public. SDM Sarkaghat has been apprised of this issue.

Reckless roadside parking in Kasumpti

Vehicles parked on roadside in the Kasumpti area of Shimla lead to unnecessary traffic jams. This could prove to be dangerous during emergency situations — rushing someone to the hospital or fire incidents. The traffic police should find an effective way to deal with this situation.
