Vishranti is situated in the lap of the Dhauladhars adjoining KayaKalp and the super-specialty hospital VMRT. It will have all modern facilities like clinic, mess and a temple, along with an attached kitchenette in all rooms. There will be an open area for morning and evening walks.

VMRT Chairman Shanta Kumar said thousands of doctors, engineers and management graduates moved out of state in search of jobs, leaving behind their aged parents. “Such couples, suffering from diabetes, blood pressure and depression have no one to look after them. Vishranti will be a ‘no profit, no loss’ venture of the VMRT,” he said. — OC
