Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh inaugurated his camp office at Rajmahal in Mandi city today. He said that he had fulfilled his promise made before the Lok Sabha elections. He added that the camp office had been opened so that the people of the Mandi parliamentary constituency did not have to go to Shimla for various works.

The minister said, “My father Virbhadra Singh had a deep relationship with the people of the Mandi parliamentary constituency. The camp office has been opened to fulfil the responsibility of maintaining this relationship and taking forward development works in the constituency.”

He said that this camp office would be run from his personal resources. He added, “In this camp office, people not only from the Mandi parliamentary constituency but also from other parts of the state can submit letters regarding their grievances, demands, issues and suggestions. Staff members will be present there and the memorandums will be immediately sent to my office in Shimla. This office will work like my Shimla office so that a maximum number of people can benefit from it.”
