The police said the person and his six friends were on their way to take part in the Manimahesh Yatra when their vehicle got stuck in debris at Tikkar Nala. They stepped out to the vehicle to push it, but heavy rain triggered another landslide.

Jasbir, a resident of Daulatpur in Una, was swept away. Panicked, his friends ran in different directions.
