Three killed as tractor-trailer overturns

Three persons were killed on the spot when a tractor-trailer met with an accident at Chadar near Jawali on Thursday. The victims have been identified as tractor driver Romit Singh (31) of Panlath (Jawali), Sangram (22) of Polian (Fatehpur), and Suraj Kumar (27) of Jaind (Indora).

The tractor-trailer was loaded with gravel, and suddenly stopped due to a technical fault. It then overturned, killing all three on board the tractor. Locals rushed to the spot and pulled out the victims, who were found dead after retrieval. The Jawali police shifted the bodies to the mortuary of Civil Hospital, Nurpur, where the bodies were handed over to the families after post-mortem.
