State varsity to offer 2nd chance to students seeking admissions to undergraduate courses

Keeping in mind the interest of undergraduate students, the executive council (EC) of Himachal Pradesh University has decided to provide another opportunity to students who were unable to get admissions.

The decision was taken here today during the meeting of the executive council that was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor SP Bansal.

During the meeting, the EC also decided on the adoption of a matrix formula for the appointment of faculty members. The EC also decided to declare the pending results at Maa Bala Sudari Law College, Nahan. They also discussed installing a statue of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in front of the Jawaharlal Nehru Library building on the university campus.
