Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today said that directives had been issued to all boards and corporations to release salaries and pension on October 28 in view of the festival season.

To benefit 50,000

The decision has been taken ahead of the upcoming festive season and it will benefit around 50,000 employees and pensioners of all boards and corporations in the state

He said that the decision was taken ahead of the upcoming festive season and it would benefit around 50,000 employees and pensioners of all boards and corporations in the state. He added that the state government had also decided to release additional 4 per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) to all government employees, effective from January 1, 2023.

A delegation of the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board presented a cheque for Rs 2 crore towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Sukhu. The employees of the Pollution Control Board would benefit from this increase as well, he added.
