Shoolini University attains h-index of 140
Shoolini University has achieved a milestone by attaining an h-index of 140, making it the highest among institutions established in and after 2008.
Chancellor PK Khosla said this accomplishment places Shoolini ahead of many premier institutions, including IIT’s. “The h-index is a widely recognised metric used to assess the productivity and citation impact of a researcher or an academic institution. It reflects the number of publications (h) that have been cited at least h times,” he said. This metric serves as a reliable benchmark for evaluating the quality, influence and global reach of an institution’s research output, he added.
“Shoolini University’s vision for research excellence is supported by its world-class faculty, innovative student initiatives and international collaborations. The university has prioritised cutting-edge research, especially in areas aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and actively engages in interdisciplinary projects to address global challenges,” said Prof Khosla.
“Surpassing several IITs and other prestigious institutions is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our faculty, researchers and students,” he stated. This achievement reflects the dedication, hard work and innovative spirit that go into producing impactful research with global resonance, he said.
He congratulated the entire university community on their collective effort in achieving this success and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to driving innovation and academic excellence.
