At least seven persons, including police personnel, were injured in a clash over a property dispute between the members of Bramho Samaj and Ram Krishan Mission in Shimla on late Saturday night.

The incident occurred when a group of devotees reached the Ram Krishna Mission building located near the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and began to pay obeisance. However, members of the mission and Bramho Samaj had an altercation, which later turned violent as they started to pelt stones on each other. As a result, several people were injured, including police personnel, who had reached there to pacify the members.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Shimla said FIRs had been registered and the police was conducting an investigation.
