Semifinals of Mr & Miss Northern event on November 5
The semifinals of the much-anticipated Mr and Miss Northern competition will take place on November 5, from 5 pm onwards, at the historic Seri Manch in Mandi town. Around 55 girls, 42 boys and 35 children, all selected from over 500 participants across North India, will showcase their talent at the event, organised by Feet of Fire Dance Academy.
Addressing the mediapersons here on Sunday, organiser Amit Bhatia announced that 20 participants from each category will advance to the finals, where winners will have the opportunity to collaborate with top five modelling companies in the country.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Bhatia stated, "We aim to provide a platform for hidden talent and support aspiring models and performers." The semi-finals will feature renowned figures, including Anushka Dutta, Miss Universe India participant, and well-known model Ban-M. Notable Himachali artists like singer AC Bhardwaj and influencer Ajay Chauhan are also expected to attend the event.
Raja Singh Malhotra, another organiser, emphasised the importance of such events in nurturing talent since their inception in 2013. "Our goal is to elevate aspiring performers, not just to earn a name," he said, urging the public to support the participants.
The finals will also be held in Himachal Pradesh, with the venue to be announced soon. Former Miss Universe India Shweta Sharda will make a special appearance at the finals.
Organisers Raku Walia, Jagdish Kumar and Hem Raj Sharma were also present at the press conference, providing further insights into the event's planning and objectives.
