Satpal Singh Satti lays stone of link road in Una village

Chairman of the State Finance Commission Satpal Singh Satti laid the foundation stone of a link road at Khanpur village in the Una Assembly constituency today.
A sum of Rs 85 lakh would be spent on its construction.
Satti said that Rs 90 lakh for another link road connecting Khanpur with Raipur and an irrigation-cum-drinking water scheme estimated to cost Rs 25 lakh had also been sanctioned for Khanpur village.
He said that 100 families in the village had been provided free LPG connections under the Grihini Suvidha Yojana of the state government. He added that more than 1.5 lakh LPG connections had been distributed in that state under the Union Government-sponsored Ujjwala Yojana, while 2.5 lakh connections had been provided under the Grihini Suvidha Yojana to the marginalised people.
