Ruby Negi crowned Miss Kinnaur at state-level festival in Himachal
On the third cultural evening of the state-level Kinnaur Festival, Himachal Pradesh’s Minister of Public Works and Urban Development Vikramaditya Singh graced the event as the chief guest. Revenue, Tribal Development and Public Grievance Redressal Minister Jagat Singh Negi and Pradesh Congress president Rani Pratibha Singh attended the event as special guests.
The cultural evening featured renowned singer Kuldeep Sharma, who captivated the audience with his performance. Kumar Sahil and Gaurav Kaundal also enthralled the attendees with their talent.
The event included the third and fourth rounds of the Miss Kinnaur competition, in which Ruby Negi was crowned Miss Kinnaur, with Sunita being the second runner-up and Surbhi as the first runner-up. Women Welfare Council adviser Sushila Negi crowned the winners, honouring Miss Kinnaur-2024 and the runners-up.
A grand ‘nati’ (a traditional Himachali dance) was also organised. Himachali and Kinnauri artists enchanted the audience with their skills. Performers such as Anil Sharma, Rozy Sharma, Ramna Bharti, Kishan Verma, and Tantra Boys delivered mesmerising musical performances, encouraging the crowd to dance along.
Also in attendance were Kinnaur DC Amit Kumar Sharma, District Council vice-chairperson Priya Negi and Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shekhar.
