  • Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has urged the local police, led by SP Rakesh Singh, to help the RPF in nabbing the culprits

Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has urged the local police, led by SP Rakesh Singh, to assist the RPF in apprehending the culprits. FIRs have been registered, and the RPF is questioning children of nearby migrant workers to determine if they witnessed any suspicious activity during the incidents, which both occurred in broad daylight. Authorities are investigating whether the attacks were isolated or part of a larger conspiracy.

The Vande Bharat Express’s inaugural run between Amb Andaura and New Delhi was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 13, 2022, just before the announcement of the Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha elections. The first reported stone-pelting incident occurred only five days later, on October 18, 2022, near Ajnoli village, close to the Una railway station.
