Rampur dairy farmers to hold first meet on November 15
The first conference of the Bushahar Milk Producers’ Union will be held on November 15 at Duttnagar in Rampur.
This was shared in a press conference by Bihari Sayogi, the convenor of the Milk Producers’ Union and state vice-president of INTUC.
Sayogi said dairy farmers had not received attention until now. For the first time, milk producers will unite to present their problems to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and the Animal Husbandry Minister through this conference, he added, stating that dairy farmers had already intensified activities in Rampur in preparation.
During the press conference, Sayogi said the CM would be the chief guest at the conference. The event will be attended by the Animal Husbandry Minister, Public Works Minister, and the chairman of the Seventh Finance Commission.
Sayogi said through the conference, milk producers will voice various issues and demand solutions directly from the Chief Minister. Sayogi emphasised that, until now, there was no platform to raise the problems and demands of dairy producers, but with the formation of this union, they now had a strong voice to present their demands.
