The prolonged spell in the state is likely to continue at least till the end of this month. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to stay dry largely over the state, barring some rain and snow at isolated placed in the mid and high hills on November 23.

According to the Weather Department, light rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Lahaul and Spiti district and in higher reaches of Chamba, Kangra and Kullu districts on November 23. In the rest of the state, the weather is likely to remain dry over the next week.

No large change in minimum and maximum temperatures is expected during the next one or two days. Thereafter, temperatures are likely to fall by about 1°C or 2°C in some parts of the state during the next three or four days.

Also, dense fog is likely over many parts of the reservoir areas of the Bhakra Dam (Bilaspur) and Sundernagar (Mandi) during late night hours of November 23 while shallow to moderate fog is likely over some parts of the reservoir area of the Bhakra Dam (Bilaspur) and Sundernagar (Mandi) during late night hours of November 22.
