Principal booked for preparing fake documents for construction

The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau today booked the then principal of Government Senior Secondary School(GSSS) Balera, in Arki sub-division, for allegedly preparing fake documents for the construction of a water tank.

The bureau’s SP Anjum Ara said Om Prakash Sharma, the then principal of GSSS-Balera, had prepared fake documents and receipts amounting to Rs 93,840 for the construction of a water tank in the school. He conspired had with a contractor Devinder Kumar and painter Vijay Kumar for the same.

Sharma has been booked for criminal breach of trust, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy as well as the Prevention of Corruption Act on the basis of an enquiry conducted in this case. Further probe was underway.
