Pratibha begins talks for HPCC reconstitution

State Congress president Pratibha Singh met some party leaders at the party headquarters here today and discussed the reconstitution of the dissolved Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC). The leaders also discussed the current political issues of the state.

Scheduled Caste Commission Chairman Kuldeep Kumar and member Advocate Digvijay, HIMUDA vice-president Yashwant Chhajta and former MLA Adarsh ??Sood were among the leaders who met the Congress president.

Pratibha has returned from Delhi where she is believed to have met senior Congress leaders, including Rajeev Shukla, AICC in-charge of party affairs in the state, regarding the reconstitution of the HPCC. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge had dissolved the HPPC, including the body of office-bearers up to the district and block level, a couple weeks ago.
