Potholes endanger drivers at Patlikul
PEDESTRIANS and commuters have been greatly inconvenienced due to the large potholes on a road at Patlikul. Since the monsoon began, water has filled up the potholes, making matters worse. The condition of this road, which sees significant traffic, is pitiable. The threat of accidents looms over drivers. The authorities concerned should take cognisance of the matter and repair these potholes at the earliest. Also, regular maintenance of the road should be carried out.

Water leakage amid scarcity in Shimla
DESPITE there being a shortage of water in Shimla, several tanks in the city can be spotted overflowing. The problem is worse near under-construction buildings. Workers do not pay heed to the wastage, and water keeps flowing from the tanks. The authorities should keep a check on this, and take strict action against the owners of such buildings.
