Nov 10 is deadline for PM Internship Scheme
Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan has set November 10 as the deadline for applications under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme, which enables eligible youth to gain experience in India's top 500 companies.
Devgan emphasised that the application process is free. Applicants need an Aadhaar number, educational and skill certificates (PDF under 2MB) and a DigiLocker security key. Registration is available on the PM Internship Scheme portal, where candidates must complete e-KYC, personal, contact, educational, and bank details, as well as provide skill and language information. A valid email is required.
Candidates can select their qualifications from options including 10th, 12th, ITI, and undergraduate levels. A bank account linked to their Aadhaar is necessary for eligibility. Applicants may apply for up to five internships and include details of past internships.
Tutorial videos in Hindi and English are available to assist candidates. Devgan encouraged eligible youth to seize this opportunity.
