On the second day of the state-level Kinnaur Festival, which runs from October 30 to November 2, the Miss Kinnaur competition took centre stage. Sixteen contestants from Kinnaur district participated, showcasing their talent and poise through multiple rounds, including an introductory round and a catwalk. The final rounds were completed today, with the crowning of Miss Kinnaur set for November 2, the last day of the festival.

Organised by Dr Surya Boris and guided by Minister Jagat Singh Negi, the event aims to offer a platform for young women of Kinnaur to display their abilities. Dr Amit Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the State-Level Kinnaur Festival Committee, graced the cultural evening as the chief guest.

Other distinguished attendees included Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shekhar, Kalpa SDM Dr Major Shashank Gupta, Assistant Commissioner OP Yadav, District Welfare Officer Balbir Singh Thakur and Kulwant Negi. The festival continues to celebrate the vibrant culture and talent of Kinnaur’s youth.
