The Revenue, Horticulture, Tribal Development and Public Grievances Redressal Minister, Jagat Singh Negi, will be on an official visit to Kinnaur district from September 25 to October 4. During this period, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several developmental projects, hold meetings with district officials and address public grievances.

A government spokesperson said on September 25, Negi will lay the foundation stone of the Vishnu Narayan Community Hall at Kache village in the Nichar subdivision and listen to public grievances. Later, he will address people in Vikasnagar village and inaugurate the entrance of Shri Narayan Temple, a seating area and the community hall of a Buddhist temple in Bari Gram panchayat.

On September 26, the Horticulture Minister will inaugurate a meditation centre at the Ponda Buddhist Monastery and a playground at the Government High School in Kangos. He will also lay the foundation stone for the Sungra Kanda road and inaugurate the administrative building at Eklavya Residential School in Nichar, a dining block and kitchen, as well as the Chhot to Nichar water supply scheme.

On September 27, Negi will chair the block-level grievance redressal committee meeting and the 20-point programme committee meeting in Bhavanagar.

On September 30, the minister will inaugurate various projects in Sangla tehsil, including the Thapasaring to Ketra road, a lamp house at the Sangla Buddhist Temple and additional rooms at the Forest Rest House. He will also lay the foundation stones for a sewage plant on the Baspa stream, a road from Reshwal Women’s Hall to upper Reshwal, a rain shelter near the Buddhist Temple courtyard and a seating area.

On October 1, the Revenue Minister will inaugurate a forest guard residence in Seringche and the Yuktro road in Rakchham.
