The quarterly meeting of the district council for the tribal district of Lahaul-Spiti was held at Keylong. The meeting was chaired by district council president Bina Devi. Attendees included council members and heads of various departments, with district panchayat officer Sachin Thakur facilitating the meeting.

President Bina Devi announced the identification of eight panchayats under the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) for development projects. She instructed the Revenue Department to provide details on compensation awarded to residents in Thapak village for land lost in floods at the next meeting. The police informed the council about registration of 2,249 labourers from other states.

The Forest Department confirmed that the supply of timber for construction would begin shortly. Council member Kunga Gyaltsen raised concerns over delayed development of Tandi Sangam as a tourist spot. Discussions also covered filling of posts for electrical substation attendant in Karga and Sissu. District council vice president Rajesh highlighted need for effective traffic management during peak tourist and vegetable seasons on the Tandi-Udaipur road.
