Set against the backdrop of the final day of the epic 18-day war, ‘Ashwathama’ delved into the character’s inner turmoil and ambitions. Pradeep described the play as not just a retelling but a deeper exploration of Ashwathama’s desire to rise as a commander, and his tactical triumph in the battle between Duryodhana and Bhima.

The production’s sophisticated light and sound design amplified the emotional weight of the narrative, immersing the audience in the story’s dramatic intensity. Their performance received high praise from Mumbai’s artistic community, leading to enthusiastic requests for additional shows. The actors dedicated over 20 days to the rigorous preparation of the play, demonstrating their commitment to delivering an authentic and compelling portrayal of the epic tale. Pradeep expressed gratitude for the warm reception in Mumbai, acknowledging the opportunity to share Mandi’s rich artistic culture with a wider audience.
