Dharamsala, December 16

The martyrs of the 1971 war with Pakistan were remembered at Dharamsala today. On the 50th anniversary of the war that was celebrated across the country as Vijay Diwas, Kangra Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati laid a wreath at the war memorial in Dharamsala.

He said that many soldiers from the Kangra region laid their life during the 1971 war. Today, the district administration of Kangra and ex-servicemen paid their respects to the soldiers martyred during the war.

However, the district administration kept the Vijay Divas function low key due to the Covid restrictions.
