LEAKING sewerage pipes in Ramnagar area of the Mandi Municipal Corporation have become a cause for concern for the residents. These pipes pose a potential threat for the outbreak of diseases in the area. The sewerage water also emanates a strong stench and residents are forced to live amidst such unhygienic conditions. the stray dog population has increased in Panthaghati and New Shimla area of the city. These dogs can be seen chasing and attacking people, especially children and senior citizens. The problem has been raised a number of times with the administration, but the people’s pleas have gone unheard.
