The members of Hindu bodies here today took out a protest rally against the alleged genocide of minority communities in Bangladesh.

The protesters marched from Rambag to Dhalpur under the banner of the Sanatan Raksha Manch, accompanied by the followers of ISKCON and Patanjali.

The protestors raised slogans against Bangladesh, and demanded justice and protection for minority communities in Bangladesh.

They also submitted a memorandum to the government through the Kullu Deputy Commissioner.

Manch secretary Bhim Katoch said the Nobel Peace Prize given to Muhammad Yunus should be withdrawn.

“The atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh is agonising. The number of Hindus has dwindled from 20 per cent of the population during Bangladesh’s formation to 8 per cent today,” he said.
