Kullu DC presides over review meeting

Kullu Deputy Commissioner Torul S Raveesh, at Bachat Bhawan, presided over a review meeting related to various developmental works in the district.

She instructed officials concerned to complete works related to the construction of Panchayat Bhawans, Anganwadi buildings, toilets, Gyan Kendras and Him Era shops and canteens in time.

She also gave directions regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, MP Gram Seva Yojana, Chief Minister Lok Bhawan Nirman and MNREGA schemes. The DC instructed all Block Development Officers to work in coordination with the people of their areas for plastic, solid and wet waste management. She said, “Panchayat Inspectors should personally inspect at least one or two percent of the works in a month.” She directed field officers to present estimates of new construction works.

Raveesh told officials to ensure that construction works for new Anganwadi buildings are started soon, under the MNREGA scheme.

She also directed officials to identify land for Gau Sadans and grounds to develop sports infrastructure at the panchayat level.

The DC instructed officials to expedite incomplete works of MNREGA.
