Kids, parents and teachers enjoy carnival at Shimla school
Auckland House School for Boys, Shimla, today organised a carnival that was thoroughly enjoyed by the students, parents, teachers and other school staff.
The event was declared open by Bharari Municipal Councillor Meena Chauhan, the chief guest at the event. The school falls in the Bharari ward.
The chief guest was warmly welcomed by school principal Reuben T John.
The event began at 10.30 am at the school ground, where various stalls of eatables and games were set up.
Others who were present there included Auckland House School director Sunita John, founding principal Michael A John, and Auckland House School principal Smaraki Samantaroy.
The guests visited all the stalls and thoroughly enjoyed the event with live music.
Rev PK Smantaroy, Chairman, Diocese of Amritsar; and Rita Wilson, former Principal, Auckland House School (Girls), were also present at the event. Students and parents tried their luck at various games and relished the delicious snacks and drinks.
The fun came to an end with the announcement of the raffle prizes by the principal.
